Institute of Education Opens 2025/2026 Applications for 5-Semester B.Ed Programme
The Institute of Education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially announced admissions into its 5-Semester Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Top-Up Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This programme is specifically designed for Diploma in Education holders who wish to upgrade their qualification to a Bachelor’s degree and qualify to teach at the second-cycle level (Senior High Schools).
Programme Overview
The 5-Semester Programme prepares applicants who:
- Hold a Diploma in Education
- Have six (6) credits in SSSCE/WASSCE
- Possess relevant subject combinations
Successful applicants will be equipped with advanced pedagogical skills and subject specialization to teach at the SHS level.

General Entry Requirements
