A Ghanaian man has gone viral after demanding GH₵70,000 compensation from his girlfriend and her family following a DNA test that showed a child he believed was his is not biologically his.
The man, identified as 32-year-old Changa-Moro Meyemoh, says he was treated unfairly after investing heavily in the pregnancy and child, only to later discover the truth.
According to him, he spent close to GH₵50,000 supporting his girlfriend during the pregnancy and after birth. Shockingly, he claims he spent GH₵33,000 on the child’s naming ceremony alone.
“I spent nearly GH₵50,000 taking care of her and the pregnancy. It’s very unfair because she knew the baby was not mine all along,” he said.
“For the naming ceremony alone, I blew GH₵30,000.”
Feeling betrayed, Meyemoh says his demand for GH₵70,000 is to recover the money, time, and resources he invested, believing he was supporting his own child.
The case has since triggered heated debates on social media, with many Ghanaians divided over whether compensation is justified or not.
What do you think — should he be paid back or should he move on?
