This scholarship is part of MTN Ghana’s initiative to support brilliant but financially challenged students and teachers who are pursuing degree programmes in Ghana. It provides financial assistance to cover tuition fees, accommodation, reading materials, and even a laptop computer.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the scholarship, you must:
Be currently enrolled in a degree programme at a recognized public tertiary institution in Ghana, or in a vocational/technical course.
Or be a professional teacher studying for a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Be a Ghanaian citizen.
Have an excellent academic record.
Show good behaviour and conduct.
How to Apply
For Students:
1. Visit scholarship.mtn.com.gh and select the Bright Scholarship.
2. Write a one-page letter explaining your academic and career goals, and why you deserve the scholarship.
3. Submit the letter along with your contact details (phone number and email address).
For Teachers Pursuing STEM Degrees:
1. Apply online through the same portal.
2. Write a one-page letter explaining why you should receive the scholarship. Mention any achievements, projects, or future impact expected from your training.
3. Attach your CV and a recommendation letter from your school.
4. Add your contact details.

Deadline: May 31, 2025
Extra Information
If you're already receiving a full scholarship elsewhere, you are not eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to applicants studying ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics.
Women and differently-abled students are strongly encouraged to apply.
