Application Deadline for Colleges of Education 2025/2026 Admissions: Apply Now!
The Colleges of Education in Ghana have officially opened applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. This marks a return to the standard academic calendar following previous disruptions. Prospective students aiming to pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree are encouraged to submit their applications promptly.
Key Dates:
Application Deadline: Sunday, August 31, 2025. No extensions will be granted beyond this date, so timely submission is crucial.
Application Process:
1. Purchase an E-Voucher: Available for GH₵350 at Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) branches or via mobile money platforms such as MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, and AirtelTigo Money.
2. Online Application: Complete the application at the official admission portal: https://admission.coeportal.edu.gh.
3. Submission: After completing the online form, print a copy, attach a passport-sized photograph, and send it via EMS to the principal of your first-choice college.
Admission Requirements:
WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants: Credit passes in six subjects, including three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and three relevant electives.
GCE Advanced Level Applicants: Passes in at least three subjects (one at Grade D or better) and credit passes in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English and Mathematics.
TVET Applicants: Certificate II qualification in three relevant trade areas or a NABPTEX qualification in a related field.
Special Provisions:
Facilities are available for visually impaired applicants at N.J. Ahmadiyya College of Education (Wa), Wesley College of Education (Kumasi), and Presbyterian College of Education (Akropong).
Hearing-impaired applicants can access support at Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong.
