Celebrating Lieutenant: Founder of Concerned Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (CTTAG), Visionary Leader, and Changemaker
Today, we celebrate a remarkable individual, Agyekum Michael, affectionately known as Lieutenant, as he marks another year of impact, leadership, and purpose. Born on January 30th at Korle Bu to Mr. Stanley Apraku Agyekum and Mrs. Victoria Agyekum, Michael has consistently demonstrated resilience, innovation, and dedication in every path he has taken.
From his early education at Mamprobi Methodist School and Baatsona T.M.A JHS, to studying General Arts at Mpraeso Secondary School, he has always been a passionate learner and a natural leader. His journey continued at Abetifi Presbyterian College of Education, where he not only obtained his degree but also made a lasting impact as the TEIN President, Co-Founder and Head Coach of ABETICAN FOOTBALL CLUB, and Founder of Invisible Jamma Troupe. His leadership extended to organizing inter-group sports competitions and festivals, fostering unity and talent development.
Beyond academics and sports, Michael stands tall as a political activist, event planner, and master of ceremony. He is the Founder and Lead Convenor of the Concerned Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (CTTAG), where he tirelessly advocates for the welfare of teacher trainees across the nation.
Michael’s passion for happiness, leadership, and community growth defines his journey. He cherishes every individual who crosses his path, inspiring those around him with his unwavering dedication.
