The University of Cape Coast (UCC) proudly celebrated the 7th session of its 57th Congregation, marking a historic achievement for the inaugural graduates of the College of Distance Education (CoDE) Switch 3.1 Programme. This initiative, executed in collaboration with the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Ashanti Region, provided a platform for professionals to balance academic advancement with their careers.


Graduation Overview


The session highlighted notable academic milestones, showcasing the perseverance and dedication of the graduates:


First Class Honours: 94 graduates


Second Class Upper: 581 graduates


Second Class Lower: 448 graduates


Third Class: 233 graduates


Pass: 51 graduates



In total, 1,407 students completed the rigorous programme, underscoring their commitment to academic and professional growth.

Mr. Jesse Afriyie – Valedictorian



Achieving a remarkable CGPA of 3.9, Mr. Jesse Afriyie was recognized as the valedictorian of the 7th session. His achievement reflects the dedication and academic excellence fostered by the CoDE Switch 3.1 Programme.


Mr. Benjamin Impraim – Overall Best Science Switch Graduate




With a stellar CGPA of 3.8, Mr. Benjamin Impraim, fondly known as "Chief Abofology," earned the title of Overall Best Student in Science Switch. His accomplishment underscores the high academic standards and potential of the programme's graduates.
