2024 Teachers Promotion Results Out
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of the 2024 Teachers’ Promotion Exam results. The GES made the announcement in a Facebook post on Sunday, 15th December 2024.
Teachers who took part in the examination can now visit the exam portal www.gesmis.org to access their results.
To check the results, visit www.gesmis.org and log in with your GESMIS username and password.
Click on “Check Promotion Results” to view your results from the examination.
According to the GES, candidates who encounter issues while checking their results should direct all queries to hrsecretariat@ges.gov.gh.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, used the opportunity to congratulate all teachers who were successful in the examination. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to all teachers who participated in the examination prior to the release of the results. According to him, the promotional examination will help improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools.
“I am confident that this professional advancement will enhance the quality of teaching and learning in our schools,” he said.
Below are the pass and fail percentages for each grade:
- Deputy Director: 54% passed (4,655 out of 8,565 candidates).
- Assistant Director I: 85% passed (21,749 out of 25,556 candidates).
- Assistant Director II: 61% passed (24,581 out of 40,020 candidates).
- Principal Superintendent: 74% passed (4,932 out of 6,668 candidates).
Candidates will receive a text message (SMS) indicating whether they were successful or not. Formal promotion letters will be released in due course.
