The National Service Authority (NSA) has launched a new online payroll platform that allows National Service Personnel to conveniently access, verify, and withdraw their monthly allowances through a secure digital system.
With this new platform, personnel can now receive their allowances directly into their bank accounts or Mobile Money wallets, without needing to visit payment centres.

Step-by-Step Process to Withdraw Your NSS Allowance
- Visit the Portal: Open your browser and go to the official NSA payroll platform at payroll.gnsa.gov.gh
- Login With Ghana Card: Enter your Ghana Card number to begin login, then complete facial verification to confirm your identity
- OTP Verification: Once facial verification succeeds, an OTP will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter it to access your dashboard
- Check Payslip: Select "Payslips" to view your approved allowance amount, payment status, and previous payment records
- Confirm Payment Details: Verify your existing bank account, or add a Mobile Money wallet, for receiving payments. Ensure all details are accurate
- Transfer Allowance: After confirming your preferred payment account, proceed to transfer your allowance. Funds are credited once the process completes
Important Notice for National Service Personnel
The National Service Authority has advised personnel to keep their login details and OTP codes private, to prevent unauthorised access to their accounts.
Anyone facing difficulties while using the portal or withdrawing their allowance is encouraged to seek assistance from their respective district NSA office.
According to the Authority, the new online payroll system is designed to make allowance payments quicker, safer, and more convenient for National Service Personnel nationwide.
