The National Service Authority has officially released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 14,349 trained teachers to enable them enroll for the 2026/2027 National Service Year.

The management of the Authority explained that the PIN codes will allow prospective service personnel to begin their online enrollment process for national service.

The Authority stated that out of 49 accredited Colleges of Education, only 36 colleges have submitted their class lists, which made it possible for the PIN codes to be generated for their graduates.

Registration Period

The online enrollment exercise begins on 9 March 2026 and will end on 20 March 2026. The Authority has therefore urged all eligible trained teachers to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid any inconvenience.

Mandatory National Service

The Authority further reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen who is 18 years or older and has completed an accredited tertiary institution, including universities and Colleges of Education, is required by law to undertake national service to the state.
