Shatta Wale Sues Black Rasta, Demands GH¢100 Million Over ‘King of Fraud’ Claims


Dancehall star Shatta Wale has dragged Black Rasta to court, demanding a massive GH¢100 million for defamation.

The musician says a viral video by Black Rasta damaged his image and painted him as a fraud.

WHAT TRIGGERED THE LAWSUIT

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is angry over a video titled:

“Shatta Wale, Self-Confessed King of Fraud.”

According to him, the video contains false and damaging claims that suggest he is dishonest and involved in fraud-related activities.

He says the publication has seriously affected his reputation.

THE GH¢100 MILLION DEMAND

In the suit filed on January 15, Shatta Wale is asking the court to:

Award him GH¢100 million in damages

Order Black Rasta to delete the video from all platforms

Stop him from making any further defamatory comments

Force a public apology
