6,867 Nursing Graduates Given 4 Days to Secure National Service Enrollment

The National Service Authority has released PIN codes for 6,867 nurses and midwives eligible for the 2026/27 national service year. Graduates now have only four days to complete their online registration.

The list of qualifying nurses and midwives was submitted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. Only those who passed the March/April 2025 licensing examinations were included.

Eligible graduates must visit the NSA official portal and retrieve their PIN codes using their student ID number and date of birth. Once they have their codes, they must complete the enrolment process without delay.

A non-refundable registration fee of GHC41.00 applies. The fee must be paid through mobile money across all networks to access the enrolment platform.

The enrolment window opened on January 19, 2026 and will close on January 23, 2026. Graduates who miss this deadline risk being excluded from national service for the service year.

National service is mandatory for all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 or older who complete accredited tertiary education, including nursing and midwifery training. Completion of national service remains a key requirement for most public sector jobs and some private sector employment.

Nursing graduates are urged to act quickly. They must ensure their details are accurate and complete the process within the four-day window to avoid missing out on deployment and subsequent opportunities early in their careers.

Failing to register on time can delay posting and restrict participation in the national service cycle. Eligible graduates must prioritise this process until it is complete.
