NTC Introduces New Portal Schedule to Reduce Traffic Problems

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced a new timetable for using the Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG). This change is to solve the problem of heavy traffic on the portal when many people try to check their results and register for exams at the same time.

According to NTC’s Public Affairs Unit, the portal will now be used at different times for different activities:

  • Registration for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE): 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Checking of results: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

This new arrangement will make the portal less crowded and help users access it more easily without delays.

The Council explained that too many people using the portal at once has been causing challenges for candidates. With the new timetable, traffic will be spread out, and the system will work better for everyone.

NTC believes this decision will help candidates who want to either register for the GTLE or check their results. By following the schedule, candidates will enjoy a smoother and faster experience.

The Council also assured teachers that the TPG is an important platform, and steps are being taken to make it user-friendly. The new schedule shows NTC’s commitment to making the teaching profession better through technology.

In summary, NTC is encouraging all candidates to follow the new schedule so the portal runs smoothly for both registration and results checking.
