Carolyn Stroman Preparatory School held its annual graduation ceremony on Wednesday, August 7, under the inspiring theme: “Soaring High, Embracing Education and Opportunities.” The event was a grand celebration of hard work, creativity, culture, and academic excellence, held at the school’s premises in Assin Foso within the Assin Foso Municipal District.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to parents, guardians, and invited guests. A bilingual warm-up in both French and English set an engaging tone, followed by the opening prayer and a stirring rendition of the school anthem. The audience was then introduced to the Chairperson of the day, Esther, whose presence added elegance and inspiration to the event.

Throughout the program, the school showcased its vibrant academic and extracurricular life. Kindergarten dancers captivated the audience with colorful cultural displays, while cadet displays demonstrated discipline and teamwork. The Chairperson delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech, and performances by the choir and students highlighted the talents nurtured at Carolyn Stroman.

One of the standout moments was the presentation of cultural dances and drama by the Stroman Cultural Group. Students also recited poems and delivered speeches that emphasized the school’s values of knowledge, responsibility, and leadership. Guests were thrilled by the “Mother Ghana and the Children” presentation, as well as choreography and career day displays that encouraged children to dream big.
The most emotional part of the ceremony was the procession of graduants, followed by the awarding of certificates to mark their transition to the next stage of their education. The best-performing student gave a moving speech that left many parents beaming with pride.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Esther and a closing prayer offered by a parent, reminding everyone of the power of unity and faith in nurturing young minds.
