Foso, Ghana – July 23, 2025
Foso College of Education has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by successfully hosting its 15th Graduation Ceremony, graduating a total of 413 student teachers. The colourful event was attended by college authorities, staff, parents, invited dignitaries, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the achievements of the graduating class.
Graduation Statistics:
A breakdown of the graduating class is as follows:
- First Class Honours – 67 students
- Second Class Upper Division – 266 students
- Second Class Lower Division – 70 students
- Third Class – 10 students
- Pass – 0 students
These figures reflect the institution’s continuous efforts to raise the standard of teacher education in Ghana.
Valedictorian and Overall Best Student
The spotlight of the ceremony was on Francis Awambe, who was celebrated for his outstanding academic performance. With a CGPA of 3.880, he emerged as the Valedictorian and Overall Best Graduating Student. He also received multiple top awards:
- Principal’s Award for the Overall Best Graduating Student
- Overall Best Male Graduating Student
- Best Graduating Student in Junior High School Education
- Best Male Graduating Student in Mathematics and ICT

A Message of Encouragement
