University of Ghana Matriculation 2025: All You Need to Know!
Are you a newly admitted student at the University of Ghana? Get ready for one of the most important events in your academic journey—Matriculation 2025!
📅 When and Where?
The matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025. It will be held at different locations based on your college:

Freshmen should be seated 15 minutes before the event starts.
🔍 Why is Matriculation Important?
- Officially becoming a UG student – You will take the Matriculation Oath and sign the Matriculation Register.
- Mandatory for graduation – If you fail to sign the register, you may not be allowed to graduate.
All newly admitted students (undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate) must attend.
📝 How to Sign the Matriculation Register?
Students must log in to the Students/Staff Services (STS) Portal between January 27 and February 7, 2025, to sign the Matriculation Register.

🎩 Dress Code
All students must wear a black matriculation gown over formal dress.

Details on gown collection will be shared soon. Remember to return your gown by 4:30 PM on the same day to avoid penalties!
