Impersonation Revelation: The Allegedly True Identity of Dzodze Penyi Senior High School's Headmaster
In a perplexing turn of events, the headmaster of Dzodze Penyi Senior High School, known as Edward Allan Agbeti, has been uncovered as Prince Kofi Adiabo, a figure familiar to the Agave Traditional Area. This revelation has raised serious concerns about his authenticity and integrity.
Prince Kofi Adiabo, a name that resonates deeply within the Agave Traditional Area, has been using the alias Edward Allan Agbeti to work within the Ghana Education Service. Known for his potential to become a paramount chief, Adiabo has never publicly denied or altered his name. In fact, court records and affidavits from the Regional House of Chiefs, where he was nominated for paramount chieftaincy by his father, all bear the name Prince Kofi Adiabo.
However, the discovery that he has allegedly been operating under a different identity as Edward Allan Agbeti has brought his character into question. This situation was highlighted in a formal complaint submitted to the District Commander of Police in Sogakorfe by concerned citizens of the Agave Traditional Area.
The complaint, signed by Torgbe Avave Awuye Kpobi, Mr. Joseph Akakpo Awuye, Mr. David Mensah Awuye Kpobi, and Mr. Ernest Awuye Kpobi, outlines several troubling points:
The complainants, who are engaged in a legal battle at the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, have brought to light the mysterious identity of Prince Kofi Adiabo. They note the presence of another individual, Edward Allan Agbeti, who is rumoured to be Adiabo’s twin brother.
Theories have emerged suggesting that the individual in question may indeed be Edward Allan Agbeti, not Prince Kofi Adiabo.
Recently, news circulated that Prince Kofi Adiabo, who allegedly lacks academic qualifications in ghana, has been using a false certificate under the name Edward Allan Agbeti to secure a position as the headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School.
Coincidentally, the same individual, referred to as the 6th Respondent in the consolidated suit, has appeared in the Sogakorfe High Court as Prince Kofi Adiabo on a pending contempt charge. Various affidavits confirm this identity.
The complainants further state that the individual’s dual identity is complicating legal proceedings and causing confusion.
A recent gazette has identified Edward Agbeti as Togbe Xedixor Hlitabo IV, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
The complainants have called for a thorough investigation into the true identity of the 6th Respondent in the consolidated suit No. VRP.4/2013. They have requested the police to inspect his national ID, voter ID, birth certificate, and other official records, including his appointment as the headmaster of Dzodze Penyi Senior High School and related salary payment vouchers.
The complaint has been copied to various authorities, including the Regional Police Commander in Ho, the Directorate Ministry of Education in Volta Region, the Registrar of the Sogakorfe High Court, and the District Head of BNI in Sogakorfe, among others.
This case, with its layers of complexity and potential fraud, underscores the need for a thorough and transparent investigation to ensure that the true identity of Prince Kofi Adiabo, also known as Edward Allan Agbeti, is established, safeguarding the integrity of the Ghana Education Service and the traditional leadership in the Agave Traditional Area.
