The strike action by the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) Continues, as an interlocutory injunction case filed by the National
Labour Commission (NLC) at the Labour Court 1 in Accra was adjourned to August 6th, 2024.
According to the information received by Coleman publication, the court did not sit as scheduled, leading to the postponement.
The NLC had sought the injunction to halt CETAG's strike, which began on June 14th, 2024.
CETAG has remained resolute in their stance, stating that they will not call off their industrial action until all their demands are met.
The delay in the court case means that the strike, which has disrupted academic activities in colleges of education across the country, will continue.
