The MTN Bright Scholarship for the academic year 2024/2025 is now open for applications! This scholarship, sponsored by the Menghana Foundation in collaboration with MTN Ghana, aims to support bright and deserving Ghanaian students pursuing tertiary education or vocational and technical skills training in public institutions.
The scholarship package includes coverage for tuition and accommodation fees, provision of research devices, and a stipend for reading materials, all aimed at easing the financial burden on successful applicants. Moreover, the emphasis is not only on financial support but also on fostering academic excellence and good conduct among beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MTN Bright Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1.Enrollment in a Ghanaian public tertiary institution or vocational and technical skills training.
2.Ghanaian citizenship.
3.Demonstrated record of good conduct and excellent academic performance.
4.Clean academic record without any history of disciplinary issues.

Application Process
Interested candidates can apply online through the dedicated web portal: scholarship.min.com.gh. Along with the online application, applicants are required to submit a one-page letter of motivation outlining their educational and professional goals. Valid contact details, including phone number and email address, must also be provided.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified and invited to meet the scholarship panel for further assessment.
Important Points to Note
The application process is completely free of charge.
Applicants who have already received other educational scholarships are not eligible to apply.
Priority will be given to applicants pursuing courses in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics.
Women and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications are open from February 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
